Dianne is active for Customs Knowledge as an independent consultant. She studied Logistics and Technical Transport Management at the former Traffic Academy (NHTV). After this, she studied Tax Law (taxation and criminal law) at the University of Leiden. After her studies, she worked in different positions at Dutch Customs, where the last five years were spent as fine-fraud coordinator and liaison official for the Rotterdam and Roosendaal customs regions. After having worked in Customs for 19 years, she decided to apply her expertise and experience to consultancy.

Dianne is a driven, analytical lawyer. She has extensive experience in litigating before the courts about the classification of goods, valuations and excise-related matters. Her specialisation is in the field of customs and criminal law: litigation, detection and punishment.

Dianne lives in Barendrecht with her husband and daughter. She likes going out to dinner with her family or to the theatre or cinema with her girlfriends. She likes to travel and explore the world, with new nature and culture. Australia is her favourite destination because of its magnificent diversity.
