Vera has worked for Customs Knowledge as office manager since 2018. Before that, she gained many years of work experience in different roles and different organisations in the legal field, mainly as a self-employed entrepreneur.

She is responsible for the entire and overall business operation (HR, facilities, purchasing, marketing, secretary’s office and ICT) and is a member of the management team. 

Connecting people and organisational development are themes that interest her. As a manager, she likes to work in a practical manner with a team to achieve concrete business objectives, focusing on the improvement of processes and the delivery of a professional and high-quality service to the client.

Her power is being able to connect people and processes from the inside and outside of the organisation with each other for optimum performance. This is done with a positive attitude, energy and creativity. This attitude helps her to contribute to the development of the organisation in general and to the job satisfaction of the team in particular.

Vera lives and works in Heerenveen. She is married and has two daughters and a son. In her spare time, she likes to sing and act. She also likes sports such as running and kickboxing. Together with her family, Vera likes to travel.
